Kaftany jedwabne / silk kaftans

Oba kaftany są wykonane w całości z naturalnego jedwabiu typu szantung. Podszewka również jedwabna, w kolorze pomarańczowym. Całość wykończona ręcznie taśmami z jedwabiu tkanego we wzór roślinny, przetykanego złotą nicią.
Wzór rudego kaftana zaczerpnięty z fresku przedstawiającego koronację króla Gruzji Dymitra I (XII w.)

Both kaftans are made from a natural silk (shantung type). The lining is also sewn with silk, in a contrast oragne color. The finishing is made from silk straps woven in floral patterns, with the golden threads inside.
The orange kaftan is inspired by a fresco "Coronation of Demetrius I", king of Georgia in XII c.

Surcote, późny XIV w.
Surcote wykonany z wełny, z otworami po bokach, z 4 klinami i kontrastową lnianą podszewką.
Strój wykonany na podstawie - Giovanni Boccaccio, Le livre des femmes nobles et renommées

Female surcote, late medieval times, XIV cent.
Surcote made of wool, with openings on the sides, also consists of 4 gussets. Dress has contrasting linen lining.
Made on the basis of minature of Giovanni Boccaccio, Le livre des femmes nobles et renommées.

Suknia spodnia, późny XIV w.
Cotte simple wykonane z lnu, sznurowane z przodu, z 4 klinami i mocno zwężanymi rękawami.
Under dress, late XIV cent.
Cotte simple made of linen, front laced-up, with 4 gussets (2 on the sides, one front and one at the back), 
narrow sleeves.

Kokosznik

Kolejny kokosznik (czółko) w naszej pracowni. W środku usztywniony filcem. Haft wykonany 100% jedwabiem. Wzór pochodzi z fragmentu stójki datowanej na XI-XII wiek, znalezionej we wsi Karasz (Rosja).

Another kokoshnik in our atelier. Inside it's stiffened by a woolen felt while the emroidery is made from 100% silk thread. The pattern is inspired by a XI-XII centrury collar found in Karash village (Russia).
