Tunic from the region of Sasanian Empire (VI-VII cent.), made on the basis of iconograpfic materials and present-day interpretation. Made of cotton - fabric used mostly by rich people or warriors. There's the white, linen lining and blue finishes. Colouring is well-thought-out. Red colour was the symbol of blood or fire and white colour - good and purity. Connection of red and blue colour is taken from remains of sasanian fabrics. Embriodery is inspired by the motive of rosette.

Tunika sasanidzka / Sasanian Empire tunic
Tunika sasanidzka datowana na VI-VII wiek, uszyta na podstawie materiałów ikonograficznych i współczesnych interpretacji. Uszyta została z bawełny - materiału używanego przez możnych i wojowników, posiada podszewkę z białego lnu i niebieskie taśmy. Kolorystyka nie jest tu przypadkowa - czerwony symbolizował krew czy ogień, natomiast biały dobro i czystość. Połączenie czerwieni i niebieskiego zaczerpnięte z pozostałości tkanin sasanidzkich. Hafty na taśmach ispirowane pojawiającym się motywem rozet ośmioramiennych.
